A text of mine on my beloved Carlo Michelstaedter — one of the rarest minds and most tragic figures ever to emerge from the European (and specifically Italian) world — was published today (19.10.2025) in the online philosophy journal Daily Philosophy, edited by Dr. Andreas Matthias. His philosophy is what one could truly call real philosophy: it rejects words and appearances and seeks to penetrate the very essence of human existence, with the practical aim of liberating man completely from all his bonds.
